IBM's XML Web Site
IBM has been doing quite a bit of work with XML and it shows. This site is a great resource for finding out more about XML, especially how it relates to IBM's Java initiatives.

MSDN Online: XML Developer Center
This site offers useful XML information, including articles, technical guides, demos, XML scenarios, and a monthly column. It also features a tutorial and details about XML functionality in Internet Explorer 4.0 and 5.0.

Netscape's XML and Metadata Developer Central
Info on XML from Netscape's perspective. This site has some interesting XML-related articles and demos, but is generally less content-rich than Microsoft's offering.

OASIS home page
OASIS, the Organization for the Advancement of Structured Information Standards, is a nonprofit, international consortium dedicated to accelerating the adoption of product-independent formats based on public standards. These standards include SGML, XML, HTML and CGM as well as others that are related to structured information processing.

The XML Working Group FAQ
A comprehensive FAQ about XML maintained by some of the contributors to the W3C's XML Working Group. This is the definitive FAQ on the subject.

XML.org
XML.ORG is a self-supporting community resource designed to provide a credible source of accurate, timely information about the application of XML in industrial and commercial settings. Hosted by OASIS, XML.org serves as a reference for XML vocabularies, DTDs, schemas, and namespaces.

XML.COM
Online magazine and resource center from O'Reilly and Associates and Seybold Publications. Good place to get information about commercial products designed to create XML documents or existing products updated to include XML compatibility.

The World Wide Web Consortium's XML Site
This is the site on XML hosted by the W3C, owners of the XML specification. An excellent starting point for finding just about anything about XML

The Apache XML Project
The Apache XML Project provides commercial-quality standards-based XML solutions that are developed in an open and cooperative fashion, provides feedback to standards bodies (such as IETF and W3C) from an implementation perspective, and is a focus for XML-related activities within Apache projects.

MSDN Online Voices: Extreme XML
Extreme XML is a monthly column on using Extensible Markup Language.

Oracle Technology Network
Oracle's technical resource for building applications based on the Oracle Internet Platform. You can go to their XML page containing links to Oracle's XML products, which include new parsers for Java, C, C++, and PL/SQL. Also, check out their recently announced XML Developer's Kit.
